Matthew Douglas Merritt, 51, of Greensburg passed away on February 16, 2023 at The Waters of Batesville. He was born on June 8, 1971, in Greensburg, the son of Roxie Merritt and grandson of Willa and John Knarr. Matt was a 1990 graduate of Greensburg High School. He worked at Gecom for over 30 years. Matt enjoyed spending time with his son, going to concerts and traveling.
Survivors include Son, Tyler Merritt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, John and Willa Knarr; Mother, Roxie Merritt.
A private graveside service will be held at the Union Baptist Cemetery. Reverend Frank Smith will be officiating.
