Memorial service for 90-year old Naomi “Cricket” Snodgrass who died December 31, 2023

Naomi “Crickett” Snodgrass, got her wings on December 31, 2023 at the young age of 90. She was born on February 18, 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Harold Morris and Naomi (Shelly) Cordell. Crickett was a 1951 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She married the love of her life, Leon Snodgrass, in 1951. She worked at Delta Faucet for 37 years before retiring in 2009.

Survivors include: Daughters, Marie Reid, Terri Voge and Lori (Ted Smith) Ratterman; Son, James Paul Snodgrass; Grandchildren, Rena (Kevin) Koerner, Mia (Eric) McCrae, Neva Reeves, Derrek (Nikki) Snodgrass, Michael (Sarah) Snodgrass, Emily Riggs (Dan Bianchi), Nathaniel (Megan) Ratterman, and Chandler (Kyle) Rhodes; plus seven Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Edith Schlater, Virginia Twitchell, and Cheryl Bowler; Brother, Mike (Linda) DeVoe. Also, the numerous Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren that she “adopted” into her home and her heart.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband Leon, Brothers, David Cordell, James Cordell; and Sister, Jackie Pritchard and Great-Grandson Luca Kirk Rulo.

A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home and can be accessed live on the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Facebook page.
