Nancy Evelyn Van Wagoner, 67, of Butlerville, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on August 13, 1953 in Beech Grove, Indiana, the daughter of Charles & Lena (Wallace) Parks. She was born and raised in Beech Grove and had been a Jennings County resident for the past 8 years. She had graduated from Franklin Central High School. Nancy had worked for the Manor Care Nursing Home for 12 years and Hampton Inn in downtown
Indianapolis for 14 years. She was a member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church and a former member of Greenwood Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to car meets and cruise ins. She married Michael R. Van Wagoner and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Michelle Rice of Greenwood; her sons, Robert (Connie) Van Wagoner of New Whiteland and Andrew Rice of Greensburg; her step sons, Joshua Van Wagoner of Fairland, Jacob Van Wagoner of Indianapolis and Jeremiah (Nikki) Van Wagoner of Lincoln, Nebraska and her 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Steve Parks & Allen
Parks. The Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Malvin McCullough officiating. Burial will follow at the Union Flatrock Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home masks are required. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Flat Rock Baptist Church.
