Rebecca Karol Ogle, 51, of Westport, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1971 in Columbus, the daughter of Ronald & Margaret (Cord) Jarvis. She was born and raised in Bartholomew County and has been a Decatur County resident since 1992.She graduated from Columbus East and had attended Ivy Tech College. Rebecca was member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and had been a Cub Scout Leader. She enjoyed art, drawing, quilting, embroidering, sewing, baking and making oils, soaps and lotions. She married Shannon Ogle on November 6, 1992 in Greensburg. He survives, along with her mother, Margaret Cord Jarvis of Versailles; her daughter, Jarikah Ogle of Westport; her sons, Jared, Jaremiah and Jakob Ogle, all of Westport; her sister, Kellie Jarvis Compton of Indianapolis; her brother, Keith Jarvis of Toledo, Ohio; her grandchildren, Maddelyn & Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her father. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen, with Father Benu Mathew officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, from 9:00 A.M until time of service at 11:00A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen.
