Richard “Dick” A. Wamsley, 64

Richard “Dick” A. Wamsley, 64, of Greensburg passed away on March 25, 2021.  He was born on September 13, 1956 the son of Max and Jackie Clark Wamsley.  Richard was a 1975 graduate of Greensburg Community High School. He worked at the Ranch Grocery Store and then Randall’s factory. On October 15, 1977 he married Mary Zapfe and together they raised three children: Trisha, Ben, and Richard. Dick’s greatest joy was spending time with his family fishing, camping, and wood working.  His dogs were also considered family.

Survivors include: Wife, Mary Wamsley; Mother, Jackie Wamsley; Daughter, Trisha (Brandon Murray) Wamsley; Sons, Ben (Jenny) Wamsley and Richard E. Wamsley; Grandchildren, Tory Wamsley, Addy Wamsley, and Luke Wamsley; Brother, Randy Wamsley; Sister, Gail (Larry) Walsman and Ginger Brown; Nieces, Misty Coffey, Kelsi Matherly, Shannon Johnson, Cember Wamsley, Neffy Wamsley; Nephews, Adam Wamsley, Bobby Brown. He was preceded in death by his Father, Max Wamsley; Sister, Genia Wamsley; and Nephew, Chad Wamsley.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home, observing CDC recommendations on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 12:00 noon. Rev.  Harvey Taylor will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
