Terry Lee Wagner, 78, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1947 the son of Danny and Edna Louise (Baylis) Wagner. He met the love of his life, Sandra Dotson, in 1965, and they married in 1967. Together, they shared 60 wonderful years of happiness and raised two children, Terry Jr. and Sherry.
A 1966 graduate of Greensburg High School and 1967 graduate of Indiana Barber College, Terry began his career working alongside his father at Wagner’s Barber Shop before moving into car sales. He worked for Cars and Campers and later Tom Sibbitt of Greensburg for over 40 years before retiring. While working at Tom Sibbitt Chevrolet, he earned numerous awards including the Cadillac Crest Club award and the Chevrolet Legion of Leaders award for sales and customer service. His friendly nature and infectious laugh made him a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. He truly never met a stranger.
Terry was a devoted member of Bethel Apostolic Church, where he served faithfully as trustee for 45 years, secretary treasurer for 37 years. His faith and commitment to his church family were cornerstones of his life. Terry also served his community as a Councilman for District 1 for the City Council of Greensburg from 2012-2016.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Wagner; children, Terry L. (Denise) Wagner, Jr. and Sherry (Sam) Fletcher; grandchildren, Emily (Brock) McCarter, Molly Poling, Erik (Brittany) Poling, Heidi (Matt) Massingale, Mason Wagner, and Madison (Trent) Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Penelope, and Solomon McCarter; Emma and Eston Poling; Lily and Ruby Massingale; and sisters, Barbara (Ronnie) Bruner and Linda (Chris) Fenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darrell Wagner; mother-in-law, Bonnie Dotson; father-in-law, Sam Dotson; and son-in-law, Kevin Poling.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Bethel Apostolic Church from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Todd Smith and Rev. Glenn Seaman officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Apostolic Church.
