Virginia (Ginny) Plummer Ferguson, age 95 of Martinsville, Indiana passed away on September 29, 2025 at Aspen Place. Born October 22, 1929, she was the daughter of Virgil and Lillie Plummer. She was married to Ed Ferguson for 30 years. He preceded her in death in 2018.
Ginny loved ziplining, riding in a 1929 Model A car, riding on a pontoon, riding in a side car on a motorcycle, flying in a helicopter and a hot air balloon all in the last 3 years. She loved dogs and had an infectious laugh.
She will be greatly missed by her sons Larry (Connie) Ferguson of Martinsville, IN and Mark (Meg) Ferguson of Greensburg, IN and daughter in law Cathy Ferguson of Florida. Eight grandchildren: Amy (Matt) Cox, Stacy Ferguson, Todd Scott, Kerry (Tim) Frye, Scott (Kelli) Ferguson, Chad (Danielle) Ferguson, Lynn Ferguson and Adam Ferguson. Seventeen great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Stan Ferguson, grandson Cody Ferguson, one sister and one brother.
In accordance with Ginny’s wishes, she will be cremated.
