I-74 Westbound is currently closed at the 147 mile marker in Franklin County due to a serious crash involving a commercial motor vehicle. Crash Reconstructionists have been called to the scene.
Westbound traffic is being diverted off of I-74 at the Batesville Exit (149) and onto State Route 46.
Expect delays if traveling westbound on I-74 this morning near Batesville.
Update 5:30 am
This is a single vehicle fatal crash involving a commercial motor vehicle. Officers on scene will be attempting to get traffic stuck between the scene and the Batesville Exit through the area soon. After that, I-74 WB will be closed for a lengthy cleanup.
