From the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department
07/30/2023 at approximately 03:07 PM deputies from the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office
responded to the 9000 blk of E 700 N to a report of a male subject injured in a UTV accident. The victim,
Mark Case 62-years old of Hope, ultimately succumbed to his injuries sustained in the accident.
Officers from the Department of Natural Resources assisted in the investigation which is still ongoing at
this time.
Sheriff Chris Lane said, “I would like to express my condolences to Mark’s family and friends. Mark was
an outstanding public servant and he will be greatly missed.”
