Lane Closure on U.S. 52 over the Big Blue River
SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E & B Paving LLC. announces a lane closure on U.S. 52 over the Big Blue River near Morristown. Beginning on or after Monday, April 3, crews will close the west bound lane on U.S. 52 for a bridge replacement project. There will be a temporary signal in place throughout the reconstruction of the bridge starting with the west bound lane. The signal will allow west bound traffic to cross the the bridge on the east bound lanes. Once crews finish the west bound lane they will switch to the east bound lane to complete the reconstruction. The bridge reconstruction project will be completed mid November, weather depending. INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones. |
