State Road 44 closure extended through November




JOHNSON/SHELBY COUNTY, Ind.— The Indiana Department of Transportation and contractor Milestone Contractors L.P. have extended the closure of State Road 44 over Sugar Creek through November, 2021.This work was originally expected to be completed next week, but has been extended due to a change in the scope of the project. The bridge rehabilitation (superstructure replacement) work has now changed to full bridge replacement due to unforeseen circumstances. Motorists should continue to seek an alternate route.
