

🌟 4-H’er of the Day: Wade Schutte 🌟
Today we proudly recognize Wade Schutte as our latest 4-H’er of the Day — a true leader, mentor, and ambassador for Decatur County’s 4-H community. 💚
Wade is a dedicated member of the Mighty Marions of Millhousen and a senior at Greensburg High School. With 9 years in 4-H, he’s earned the respect and admiration of his peers through countless projects, shows, and unwavering support for younger members. Whether he’s guiding his siblings or leading as club president, Wade’s commitment shines.
Beyond 4-H, Wade’s impact stretches into the community:
- He serves as president of the Junior Optimist Club at GCHS
- Participates on the Mayor’s Youth Council
- Serves as Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s Church
- Actively competes in tennis and track
- Member of a local men’s group for weekly prayer and workouts
Nominator Kay Nobbe shared: “When you think of 4-H and what that means, Wade exemplifies qualities of each of the four H’s. He’s intellectually driven, emotionally compassionate, deeply involved in service, and physically active. Wade truly leads by example.”
From his selection as St. Mary’s Student Leader in 8th grade to his participation at the Indiana State Fair, Wade continues to embody what it means to have a Head, Heart, Hands, and Health devoted to making the best better.
