๐ŸŒŸ 4-H’er of the Day: Josie Hartman ๐ŸŒŸ

Today we celebrate Josie Hartman, a shining example of 4-H leadership and our newest 4-Hโ€™er of the Day! ๐Ÿ’š

Josie is a proud member of Country Guys and Girls and a student at North Decatur High School. With six years in regular 4-H and two in Mini 4-H, sheโ€™s shown that dedication and passion grow stronger with time.

Academically, Josie excels with a 4.0 GPA and leads through service in numerous school activities including Student Council, Leadership, Volleyball, Academic Team, Spell Bowl, and FFA. In her 4-H club, sheโ€™s held the offices of Treasurer and Vice President โ€” proving her skills in both responsibility and teamwork.

Josie truly embodies the 4-H pledge:

  • She uses her Head to strive for academic success
  • Her Heart guides her as she supports students with special needs
  • Her Hands make a difference in community service, especially at local nursing homes
  • And her Health shines through her involvement in athletics like volleyball and track

โ€œShe does her best in all that she does,โ€ says nominator Susan Hartman, and itโ€™s easy to see why. Josieโ€™s ability to balance school, service, and sports makes her a standout role model for 4-H and beyond.

Congratulations, Josie! Youโ€™re everything we hope to see in a hometown hero. ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŽก
