The Greensburg Pirates hosted the Batesville Bulldogs on Homecoming night. Batesville scored early in the first but the Pirates were able to score a touchdown with a two point conversion. The score at the end of one was 8-6 Greensburg. Batesville was able to add a point to the scoreboard early but the Pirates returned with seven. Going into halftime Greensburg leads 15-9. Late in the third quarter the Bulldogs lead the scoreboard 16-15. The Pirates scored first in the fourth but Batesville was determined to retake the lead. When the clock ran out it was a tie score of 23. The Bulldogs scored on the first play of overtime 29-23. When the Pirates had their opportunity to score and did on the second play. The two point play pushed Greensburg to win 31-30.
