Stanley D. Grapevine, 75, of Greensburg passed away at 7:52 a.m. on January 17, 2026, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 30, 1950, in Scottsburg, Indiana to Ernest Eugene and Lois Fay (Sullivan) Grapevine. He was raised in Burney, graduating from Burney High School in 1968. He spent most of his life in Decatur County. Stanley was retired, having worked at Rock Ten and Rightway Fasteners Inc. He was a member of the Community Church of Greensburg. His hobbies included woodworking, mowing the lawn, and growing flowers. He married Marla Jo Ray on August 22, 2015, in Shelbyville, Indiana and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Stacy Foster of Columbus, Indiana and Steven Grapevine of Kentucky; his sisters; Stella Darlene Lee of Hartsville, Valerie Kay Wait of Freetown, and Bertha Lynette Henderson of Westport; his brother, Jim Leon Grapevine of St. Paul. As well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Austin Grapevine. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with his care. Following his wishes cremation will occur and a celebration of life will be held on a later date.
