GREENSBURG, Ind. — Community members, artists, and regional leaders are invited to celebrate creativity and connection at the Arts and Culture Showcase: Celebrating Creativity in the Accelerate Rural Indiana (ARI) Region on Wednesday, May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.at The Gathering Hall at Highpoint Events, 3321 Old U.S. Highway 421 in Greensburg.
This open house-style event marks the culmination of a yearlong initiative to promote and support arts and culture across the ARI region, which includes Batesville along with Decatur, Shelby, and Rush counties.
Attendees can explore exhibits highlighting creative projects, connect with local artists and organizations, and learn more about the region’s growing arts community. The event is free and open to the public, and all ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
Organizers are currently seeking artists, creatives, and arts and culture organizations to participate in the showcase through activity booths or short performances. Selected participants will receive a $300 honorarium. Applications are due April 19, and space is limited.
