Greensburg, IN – May 4, 2026 – Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) is pleased to announce the addition of Belarmino T. Frogozo, MD, a wound care specialist and board-certified Plastic Surgeon and Active Life Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, to the DCMH Wound Clinic.
With decades of surgical and wound care experience, Dr. Frogozo brings a specialized skill set in wound management and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), enhancing access to advanced care for patients in Southeastern Indiana.
Dr. Frogozo completed his medical education from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and Advanced Surgical Training in Detroit, Michigan, including:
· General Surgery Residency at Harper – Grace Hospital
· Fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at Harper – Grace Hospital
· Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University
At DCMH, Dr. Frogozo will see patients experiencing wound concerns, including complex and chronic wounds, in the DCMH Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Center located at 720 N. Lincoln St. in Greensburg, on the 2nd floor inside of Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Frogozo remains dedicated to staying up-to-date on medical trends, best practices, seeking new information, and advancements in wound care and HBOT to best serve his patients.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Frogozo has three children and three grandchildren, whom he greatly enjoys. His grandchildren are currently enrolled in college, with his eldest currently completing her doctoral training in Psychology. Additionally, he enjoys playing golf, reading, walking, hiking, and traveling with his wife.
