
GREENSBURG, Ind. — Leaders at Centerstone are pleased to announce a new member of the Centerstone of Indiana Board of Directors and to announce new officers.
Desirae Moore, a licensed clinical social worker from Decatur County, joins the 15-member board that will oversee Centerstone’s operations throughout Indiana. Centerstone is the largest nonprofit behavioral health care provider in the United States, with more than 10,000 team members and more than 250,000 individuals treated for behavioral health conditions and substance use disorders on a yearly basis.
Centerstone employs more than 1,500 team members across 38 locations in Indiana.
Moore is part of the Crisis Intervention Team at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, where mental health professionals and law enforcement agents work together to foster relationships that prioritize mental health and addiction treatment in effort to reduce burdens on the judicial system and connect people to needed services. Moore works at the Decatur County Detention Center to provide counseling, evidence-based programming and resources for people who are incarcerated.
“We have worked closely with our local Centerstone office and NAMI to support growth throughout Decatur County,” Moore said. “Joining the Centerstone Board of Directors is an exciting opportunity to continue building these lasting impacts throughout our county, region and state.”
