Fall Festival Parade Plans Underway

The Tree City Fall Festival Committee is excited to announce the annual Tree City Fall Festival Parade, taking place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. This year’s theme is “Stars, Stripes, and Small Towns – Celebrating 250 Years.”

Community members, local businesses, organizations, clubs, teams, churches, schools, and groups of all kinds are encouraged to participate and showcase their creativity, community spirit, and hometown pride.

Awards will be presented for Best Decorated (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). The beloved “Ham It Up” award also returns for its third year in memory of Merrill Smith. This award celebrates entries that bring extra personality, humor, energy, and crowd interaction to the parade route.

“Not only is our parade fun and entertaining for all ages, but it also strengthens our community’s pride by bringing together our residents, families, businesses, schools, clubs, and organizations. The parade creates unique opportunities for engagement and visibility for these groups as well. Where else can you promote your organization for free and have so much fun doing it?” said TCFF Vice President Robin Meyer.

Parade entry forms can be found on the Tree City Fall Festival website (https://treecityfallfestival.com/) and must be submitted by September 4, 2026. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the Tree City Fall Festival through Facebook.
