Robert Wesley Ogle, 91, of Greensburg, passed away at 10:23 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1934, in Decatur County, Indiana the son of William Robert and Gladys Elizabeth (Scott) Ogle. He lived the majority of his life in Decatur County. He was employed at Cummins Engine Company as team leader for 30 years and also worked for Golden Foundry and Reliance Electric for 6 years each. Bob was a member of the Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed doing woodworking and feeding the squirrels. Bob married Lila Bernice Sharp at Vernon Baptist Church on January 24, 1953. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2022. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Kay (Mark) Rose, Karen Diane Pfeiffer both of Greensburg and Wanda Eileen (Timothy) Lienhoop of Westport; his son, Robert Dale (Stephanie) Ogle of Greensburg; sister, Sharon Hill of Westport; brothers, Lowell (Pat) Ogle of Sulphur Springs, Indiana and William (Debra) Ogle of Greensburg; 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lila; son, Gary Duane Ogle; brother, Max Ogle; grandson, Timothy Pfeiffer and great grandson, Samuel Schwering. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Perry Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
