The North Decatur Jr. High CC team participated in the Panther Invitational in Jennings County on Monday. The girls’ team ran away with a 2nd-place finish. Placing in the top 15 were Lilly Burkett (4th), Bri Trenkamp (5th), Cressa Kohman (6th), and Iris Thurston (12th). The team was also supported by Felicia Kress, Maggie Beagle, Elly Craycraft, Savannah Wilder, and Madison Beagle. The boys had two finishers in the top 15: Kaiden Holloway (12th) and Jaxon Allen (15th), with good runs by Parker Irwin and Sebastian Bobcock.
