GREENSBURG, IN – Decatur County Girl Scouts will host their first annual Cookie Crumbles 5k Run/Walk event Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Rebekah Park, 115 E. County Road 80 NE, Greensburg. The event is geared to both individuals and families. The course covers the Charles Buell Nature Trail and paved walking path running from the park to the Decatur County School Corporation building.
Registration is $15 for age 12 and under, $30 for age 13 and older. Registration deadline is Friday, March 5, however participants can sign up after the deadline – those who register by March 5 are guaranteed an event t-shirt and one box of their choice of Girl Scout cookies. Any registration after March 5 are not guaranteed a t-shirt of box or cookies, however, limited selection will be available on race day.
Families can participate in costume contests and win prizes. Runners can compete in their age group and request a run time. The best women and men in each age group will receive an award. Age groups are:
· 13 to 20 years old
· 21 to 30 years old
· 31 to 40 years old
· 41 to 50 years old
· 50-plus years old
