Greensburg, Ind. — On Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at approximately 3:08 PM, the Greensburg Police Department received a report that a male was injured on I-74 near the 132 MM in Greensburg, Indiana.
Witnesses advised Decatur County Communications, as well as police units upon their arrival to the scene, that the male had jumped off of the overpass. The male was identified by police, and his name will not be disclosed at this time.
Interstate 74 was closed for a period of time at this location while the Greensburg Fire Department and Decatur County EMS rendered aid to the injured male. The injured male was later transported from the scene by air ambulance to a trauma facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
