One person was transported to Decatur County Memorial Hospital by DCMHS EMS Wednesday evening after reportedly suffering a medical issue on North Franklin Street. The subject allegedly struck a parked van in front of Links Tavern, continued northbound before coming to rest near the front porch of the Decatur County Historical Society Museum, a block away. Reports indicate the driver was having a seizure and had to be removed from the vehicle by Greensburg Fire Department. Greensburg Police Chief Mike McNealy said a male subject fled the scene but was quickly located. Responding to the incident were Greensburg Police Department, Decatur County EMS, Greensburg Fire Department and Decatur County Sheriff Department.
The accident remains under investigation by Greensburg Police.
