The meeting began at 6:00 PM with the approval of January 2nd, 2025, meeting minutes followed by an approval of the financial report. The total funds in all three accounts are $464,541.68.
John Feister, BF&S provided an update on the Construction Report that included an update on the Apron Project. John said that at this time the contractor has been slow to start getting things moving forward but that they should be starting soon on the project. He also said that they are waiting to hear back from the grants that they applied for payment from.
Jerry Scheidler, Airport Manager, said that he continues to have seven on the waiting list for a hangar. Jerry did let the board know that the tractor that he has at the airport it was difficult to plow the snow on the runway during the accumulating snow that we had. He said that it is just something to think about.
Board President Bill Ernestes stated that he had received a phone call from Jeff Air which is a jet company that was in Greenwood, IN that recently lost their lease and might be interested in relocating to the Greensburg Airport. Bill added that they were supposed to be in attendance this evening, however they did not attend.
The board approved the payment of the bills.
