The City of Greensburg Redevelopment Commission Meeting was held on November 7, 2024, at 7pm.
The meeting began with the approval of the October 3, 2024, meeting minutes.
Zach Wirrig, Director of Public Projects provided an update on the Iron Men Apartment Complex by stating that they are currently working to develop an Economic Development Agreement. The project is currently working on applying for and receiving tax credits from the state. They are continuing to hope for groundbreaking during the spring of 2025.
Zach provided an update on the Liberty lakes project by stating that the 1st foundation has been poured. Beacon Builders is constructing that home to be more of a model home. At this time the project is working with the county to get their secondary platt approved so they can move forward in construction.
Zach provided an update on the marketing of the properties that the Redevelopment Commission owns on Veterans Way.
Brady Rogers, Reedy Financial provided and received approval for the annual report which included the TIF Impact Update and the TIF Spending Plan. Brady and the commission discussed the Financial Plan for the Commission.
Zach Wirrig informed the commission that he is working on creating a Capital Improvement Plan that will help lay out the projects that they plan to do over the year.
The commission approved the claims in the amount of $339,786.05.
