The City of Greensburg Board of Aviation Commissioners met on November 7, 2024, at 6pm.
The meeting began with roll call, agenda approval, and approval of the October 3, 2024 meeting minutes.
The financial report was reviewed and approved. The financial report states that they have $548,995.63 total including all accounts.
John Feister, BF&S provided an update and received approval for the Annual Federal Financial Report. John told the board that they are submitting the grant application for the final phase of the land acquisition reimbursement for $72,777.00. The board approved their 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Plan. John notified the commission that he will also be submitting a grant application for the reimbursement towards the Apron project for $81,287.37.
Jerry Scheidler stated that 2 new tenants have moved in, which has filled any vacant hangers. He states that 7 names remain on the waiting list. He stated that they have re-seeded some of the areas around the runway and are hoping for grass to grow in those areas soon.
Amy Bornes, Clerk Treasurer provided updates and gave information about nearing the end of the year and how they may need to move funds around within the same line items to avoid going into the red in some areas.
The board approved all monthly bills and payroll.
