The meeting began with the approval of the 2/4/25 meeting minutes.
Darren Burkhart, HNTB Engineer received approval for two resolutions this evening. The first was to approve the Preliminary Engineering Report be submitted to the State Revolving Fund. The second was to approve the mayor to have the authority to be the signatory authority for the project. Darren also provided an update on the Broadway water main project by saying that they are getting sub-contractors in place to complete the work.
The board approved the Holland Lease Agreement in the amount of $2,212.50 to be paid twice per year. The board tabled the acceptance of the estimates for a new service truck purchase until the next meeting to allow the board members to have time to review the estimates before voting.
The Water Department submitted their MRO to the board for their review.
The board thanked Rick Denney for his 29 years of dedication to the city of Greensburg. He will be leaving the Water department at the end of the month. Rick thanked the board and all of the great employees that he has had the pleasure to work with. Rick’s replacement will be introduced at the City Council meeting next week.
