RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor 5 Star Company, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 129 just north of Delaware on or after Monday, April 6, to complete a pipe replacement project in Ripley County. The closure will take place between County Road 700 North and East Mud Pike Road. S.R. 129 is expected to reopen in late April, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows U.S. 421 to S.R. 350 to S.R. 129. This project is part of a contract awarded to 5 Star in October 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change. |
