The Decatur County Community Schools Board of Education met on Wednesday.
The board approved the following field trips: North Decatur High School Class of 2023 to Kings Island and South Decatur High School Varsity Cross Country for overnight at Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp. The board approved the resignations of Kelsey Slaughter- North Decatur, Jim Jameson- South Decatur Principal, Phil Hellmich- North Decatur, Jim Ponsler- Central Office, and Danielle Halcomb-North Decatur. The board approved the hirings of Taylor Isaacs- North Decatur, Stuart Durham- South Decatur Principal, Kirsten Meece- South Decatur, Bridgett Jagger- South Decatur, Abby Walls- South Decatur, Betsy Watts- South Decatur, and Megan Schildknecht- North Decatur.
The board approved the student fundraisers. The board approved all donations.
