Nine bands from three states came together on Saturday, September 27, for the Batesville Marching Invitational. The Decatur County Greensburg Marching Band (DCGMB) earned runner-up in Class 1A and also took home the award for Best Percussion.
DCGMB is made up of 27 musicians and 4 color guard members representing Greensburg High School, North Decatur High School, and South Decatur High School.
The band will take the field again this Saturday, October 4, at a competition in Fishers, Indiana.
