The Decatur County Historical Society joined us Tuesday morning to share updates on upcoming events and activities.
Carrie, Director of the Decatur County Historical Society, thanked the community and the planning committee for their participation in the America 250 celebration. She also announced that the Historical Society building will be open during the Fall Festival in September, giving visitors an opportunity to explore local history.
A new event, Heritage Days: Arts, Crafts, and Artifacts, is scheduled for Saturday, October 3. The Historical Society is currently seeking crafters who would like to participate in the event.
