On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at approximately 7:49 AM, Decatur County Dispatch received a call of a crash between two vehicles near County Road 400 S. and St. Rd. 3 S. Upon the arrival of first responders, two crashed vehicles were discovered from a near head on collision.
It was determined that vehicle #1, a 2004 Honda van, driven by Samantha Lyn Blessing, 34 years of age, from Greensburg, was traveling northbound on St. Rd. 3 with four passengers ranging in age from seven months to nine years of age in her vehicle. Vehicle #2, a 2007 Toyota Camry, was driven by a 16-year-old, traveling south on St. Rd. 3.
While this crash is still being investigated, it appears that vehicle #1 was passing a semi when it collided with vehicle #2.
