Greensburg, IN – The Decatur Shelby County YMCA is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Fox as the new Executive Director of the Decatur County Family YMCA.
A Greensburg native, Fox has been an active member of the local community for many years. After spending several years living and working in Naples, Florida, he and his family returned to Indiana in 2013 to be closer to extended family and have proudly called Greensburg home since 2014.
Fox and his wife, Suzanne, enjoy staying active, supporting their children’s activities, and being involved in the community. Fox has also been actively engaged in mentoring and coaching, reflecting his passion for developing others and fostering meaningful connections.
“Brad’s leadership, passion for people, and strong ties to the Greensburg community make him an excellent fit for this role,” said Mackenzie Pickerrell, CEO of the Decatur Shelby County YMCA. “His commitment to building strong teams and empowering individuals aligns closely with the YMCA’s mission to strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.”
In his role as Executive Director, Fox will oversee operations at the Decatur County Family YMCA, working alongside staff, members, and community partners to enhance programs, expand community impact, and continue creating a welcoming environment for all.
Community members are invited to meet Brad Fox at a Welcome Breakfast Open House on Friday, April 17 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Decatur County Family YMCA. The event is open to YMCA members and the community and provides an opportunity to connect with Fox and welcome him into his new role.
