Working for Farmers
As chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, I am always looking for ways to help Indiana farmers.
To ensure our state is one of the best for agriculture, the General Assembly passed a bill this year that created the Agricultural Promotion and Regulation Task Force.
I will serve on this task force along with other senators, members of the House and agricultural leaders.
The task force will study ways to address current and future challenges and ways to improve the agricultural industry. This will give us important information to help craft legislation for next session.
