GCHS Students receive white coats

Greensburg Community High School celebrated the first White Coat Ceremony, honoring students in the PLTW Biomedical Pathway for their dedication, perseverance, and passion for exploring careers in the medical field.

Through their PLTW Biomedical courses, these students are gaining valuable hands-on experience, strengthening critical thinking skills, and preparing for future opportunities in healthcare and science. The white coat represents not only their accomplishments, but also the responsibility, compassion, and professionalism they are developing along the way.

At GCHS, students in the PLTW Biomedical Pathway have the opportunity to complete all four year-long courses with our outstanding in-house instructors. Combined with our strong partnership with Decatur County Memorial Hospital, they are well-prepared to take the next steps in their medical education journey.

Congratulations to our students on this important milestone, and thank you to DCMH for your continued support—both financial and hands-on—in making these opportunities possible
