Greensburg, IN – September 18, 2025, Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) was honored to welcome Governor Mike Braun for a visit with leaders to discuss current challenges of the future of healthcare and the importance of supporting rural communities.
During his visit, Governor Braun expressed his support for rural healthcare initiatives and the importance of controlling healthcare costs. Conversations centered on innovative approaches to improve access, enhance quality, and ensure long-term sustainability of health services in rural settings.
“Having the opportunity for our team to share our progress and challenges directly with Governor Braun reinforces our work matters, not only here in Decatur County but also at the state level,” said Rex McKinney, President & CEO of DCMH. “We are proud of the strong partnerships that help us deliver on our mission of providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.”
