The Greensburg Board of Aviation Commissioners met on Thursday.
There was a financial report given to the board. The total for all accounts is $1,214,053.04.
John Feister with BF&S gave a construction update. The grooving date for the runway is August 28. The ribbon cutting will be held on August 23 at 10:30 am. AIP 20 for $186,211.70 was approved. AIP 21 for $1,567,686.81 was approved. Contractors progress estimate 6 for O’Mara was approved.
Airport Manager Jerry Scheidler gave an update. They have been busy will crop dusters and selling a lot of fuel. They finally received the new mower which is running great. There will need to be consideration on a spot to store the mower.
Mayor Marsh presented an option for Airport Security. There was a quote from H&B Systems for $5,840. This is for 4 building cameras, 4 pole cameras, and a recording box. This was tabled.
There was a discussion on the construction of future hangars. They are getting estimates and drawing for 10 t-hangars.
The bills were approved.
