The Greensburg Board of Aviation Commissioners met on Thursday.
There was a financial report given to the board. The total for all 3 accounts is $840,930.98.
Paul Shaffer with BF&S gave an update on construction. The construction has made progress at the site and they are in the last 2 weeks of on-site material. Within the next 6 weeks offsite material will be starting. They have 3 soil tests passed and 1 that needs to be redone. They are currently making sure that everything is draining properly. Their goal is to finish the runway as quickly as possible. There were no action items.
Airport manager Jerry Scheidler gave a report. The airport has been running smoothly this past month. The lost the weather station during the storm however it has been replaced. They are currently looking to replace the broken scanner.
The 2023 budget was presented. This was approved.
The board approved for their attorney Don Tribbet to proceed with eminent domain contingent upon the denial of an avagation easement.
The bills were approved.
