On Sunday, September 29, 2024, Greensburg Community Schools held their Fall Choral Concert at Greensburg High School. The event, directed by the talented Mrs. Heather Simpson and accompanied by Mrs. Amanda Jensen, showcased the musical talents of students across multiple grade levels.
The concert featured performances by the 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade choirs, as well as the high school’s Concert Choir and Women’s Choir. A special highlight of the evening was the Elite Edition Show Choir, which delivered energetic renditions of popular songs, including Time Warp, selections from The Addams Family Musical, and Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller.
Throughout the evening, the audience was treated to a diverse list of songs such as Everybody’s Got a Song to Sing, Northern Lights, Sweet, Call of a Warrior, and From the Start. Each performance demonstrated the dedication and passion of both the students and Mrs. Simpson, with heartfelt music filling the auditorium.
For those who have yet to experience a Greensburg choir performance, this concert was a reminder of the hard work and creativity on display, making it a must-attend event for the future.
