Families and community members looking to stay up to date about events and news in Greensburg Community Schools now have a new tool.
Greensburg – November 30, 2020 – Families and community members looking to stay up to date about events and news in Greensburg Community Schools now have a new tool to access information quickly and easily. GCS has launched an app, accessible on Android and Apple phones, so families can receive updates and access important information about their child’s school.
The app offers access to calendars, school information, notifications, district news, and more. Family members can also access Skyward, the district portal to review student grades and attendance. Families who download the app will receive instant notifications about school closings, and can select their children’s school to receive notices that are school specific.
Superintendent Tom Hunter said “This app will help families stay informed and connected.”
GCS invites all students, families, staff, and community members to download the app, explore district offerings, and stay up to date on important developments.
