Greensburg Fire Department Responds to Building Fire at Indiana Auto Plant

The Greensburg Fire Department was dispatched at 11:03 AM Tuesday in response to an alarm signaling a fire at a commercial building. Upon arrival, fire units discovered smoke within the building. As per standard procedure, all team members were promptly evacuated to ensure their safety.

Firefighters diligently worked for over seven hours to locate, remove, and extinguish all fire and burned material within the premises. Their efforts ensured that the fire was thoroughly controlled and prevented from spreading further.

All units successfully cleared the scene at 6:00 PM. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and no civilian or firefighter injuries have been reported at this time.
