GREENSBURG, IN (August 13, 2021) — The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County is pleased to announce the appointment of Mandy Lohrum as Foundation Director. Mandy has served as Director of Development for Girls, Inc. for the past three years where she has fostered relationships and led fundraising efforts. “Mandy has an outstanding reputation for building relationships and a passion for serving the community. We look forward to her leadership toward advancing the mission of the Foundation,” said Andrew Stewart, Board President, Hospital Foundation. Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ball State University. She has been active in many community organizations such as Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, Greensburg Rotary Club and Decatur County Arts and Cultural Council.
Ms. Lohrum will be following the leadership of Dennis Fogle, who has served as interim director since August of 2019. According to Dennis, “The Hospital Foundation is very dear to me and I am so excited to welcome Mandy as the Director. The health and wellbeing of our community is so important. I am confident that Mandy will lead the Hospital Foundation to support all healthcare initiatives of DCMH.”

I look forward to Mandy’s leadership and continuing to build the status of our Foundation,” stated Rex McKinney, President and CEO of DCMH. Ms. Lohrum will begin duties September 13.
The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County was founded in 1992 as a 501(c)3 organization to provide additional financial support for the healthcare initiatives of Decatur County Memorial Hospital. The Foundation supported the additions of the hospital in 1995, 2003, and 2013 including The Cancer Care Center, completed in early 2016. The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County has assisted friends, neighbors and families by supporting the Decatur County Memorial Hospital’s vision of providing the best healthcare for our community.
