On 08/24/2025 at approximately 4:55 PM deputies with the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office
executed a search warrant on a residence in the 7800 blk of E Deer Run. The search warrant was a
result of series of traffic stops which resulted in information in regard to sale of narcotics in the
residence.
During the execution of the search warrant quantities of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl
were located as well as items consistent with the distribution of narcotics such as digital scales and
other paraphernalia.
At the conclusion of the search warrant deputies took into custody Debbora Bozell, 62yo of Columbus,
IN. Bozell was booked on the charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine,
Dealing in a Narcotic Drug, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Bozell
remains in custody on a 72-hour hold.
In the process of executing to search warrant deputies encountered Amanda Gardner, 42yo of
Columbus, IN in the driveway of the E Deer Run residence. During the course of the search warrant and
investigation it was determined that Gardner has just completed a transaction for methamphetamine
with Bozell. Gardner also attempted to discard/destroy suspected narcotics as law enforcement
approached. Gardner was arrested on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Obstruction of
Justice and Possession of Paraphernalia. She also remands in custody on a 72 hour hold.
This is a preliminary investigation. All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
