The Napoleon State Bank held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new banking facility at 105 Aspen
Drive in Batesville, Indiana.
“Breaking ground on this new banking facility reflects our deep commitment to serving and
investing in the communities we call home,” said Joe Moorman, President and CEO of The
Napoleon State Bank. “As a locally owned bank with a 123-year legacy, this is an exciting
milestone. We’re proud to expand our presence and bring personalized service and local decision-
making to even more individuals, families, and businesses throughout the Batesville area.”
The construction of the 3,518 square foot facility is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of
2027 and will offer all types of lending services, along customer service staff, and will include an
ATM and drive-up lanes.
The new banking facility is being constructed by Bruns-Gutzwiller Construction Company
(Batesville, IN) and was designed by K4 Architecture (Cincinnati, OH).
The Napoleon State Bank has been locally owned since 1903 and serves the Ripley and Decatur
counties of Southeastern Indiana with seven locations in Napoleon, Holton, Osgood, Milan,
Greensburg and Westport. The mission of The Napoleon State Bank is to remain a locally owned
