United Fund receives contribution from Honda

[Greensburg, IN July 28, 2025] Honda has made a contribution of $90,000 to Decatur County United Fund in support of their ongoing efforts to support community needs for individuals of Decatur County. This contribution will go toward the 2025 Campaign of “United We Bring Hope” goal of $585,000.

“Honda is proud to partner with the United Fund in its Corporate Social Responsibility vision to support programs that help people fulfill their life’s potential,” said Bobbie Trittschuh, manager of Charitable Giving at Honda and executive director of the Honda USA Foundation. “The nonprofit organizations supported through United Fund’s 2025 campaign will help make a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.”

Decatur County United Fund, with a vision of improving the quality of life for the people including the most vulnerable, has been dedicated to our mission of Together Building Hope, Health, and Stability for Our Community since 1957. “With this donation, the organization plans to support the 2025 Campaign and its fifteen community funded nonprofits that offer programs and services,” said Joane Cunningham, Executive Director for the Decatur County United Fund. “These organizations address issues such as health & dental services, transportation, child abuse, recovery & substance abuse services, domestic violence services, early education programs, mentoring, and much more. This work helps to move individuals to self-sufficiency and positive change with measurable impact.”
