United Fund Receives Contribution from Honda

To Address Education, Health, and Financial Stability

Greensburg, IN June 29, 2026]     Decatur County United Fund today announced a $100,000 contribution from Honda to support 16 nonprofits providing 19 programs throughout our community.  This contribution will advance the organization’s work to address critical barriers for families and impact the 2026 Campaign of “Caring for Our Community” goal of $595,000. 

 

“We are deeply grateful for this support from Honda,” said Joane Cunningham, Executive Director.  “This donation is a testament to their commitment to the 2026 Campaign. It will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals for the community.”

 

Decatur County United Fund, with a mission of improving the quality of life for the people including the most vulnerable, has been dedicated to our mission of Together Building Hope, Health, and Stability for Our Community since 1957.  With this contribution, the organization plans to support the 2026Campaign and its community funded nonprofits that offer programs and services,” said Joane Cunningham, Executive Director for the Decatur County United Fund. “These organizations address issues such as health & dental services, transportation, child abuse, recovery & substance abuse services, domestic violence services, early education programs, mentoring, and much more. This work helps to move individuals to self-sufficiency and positive change with measurable impact.”
