Kiwanis Club of Westport Announces Installation of New Officers for 2024-2025
[Westport, Ind.] — The Kiwanis Club of Westport, part of Kiwanis International’s global service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and strengthening communities, proudly announces the installation of its new officers for the 2024-2025 term. The installation ceremony, held on November 7th at the Westport Community Building, celebrated the transition of leadership and honored both incoming and outgoing officers for their dedication to service.
Marilyn Hutchinson, Lieutenant Governor of the Scenic Farms Division of the Kiwanis District of Indiana, officiated the installation of the new officers. The team of dedicated leaders is committed to spearheading initiatives that benefit children and families in the Westport community. The newly installed officers include:
• Dan Wenning, President
• Mark Koors, Vice President
• Chris Bierhaus, Secretary
• Barb Winchester, Assistant Secretary
• Melody Stone, Treasurer
• Ann Lehman, Assistant Treasurer
• Deb Fandrei, 3-year Board Member
• Sandy Lowe, 3-year Board Member
• Courtland Robertson, 3-year Board Member
They join returning 1-year board members Dean Holcomb, Dan Wenning, and Barb Winchester; as well as 2-year board members Mark Koors, Ann Lehman, and Richard Young.
Outgoing President Mike Gasper was recognized for his exceptional commitment to the club’s mission, having served seven terms as president (1993-1994, 2004-2005, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2019-2020, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024). To ensure a smooth transition, Gasper was installed as a 1-year Board Member.
