The Charger Harriers traveled to Rushville Saturday to participate in the annual Rushville Invite and came home with 4th place finishes in the girls in the boys races.
In the girls race, Junior Rileigh Hash led the way with a tremendous time of 23:34 (new PR) finishing 10th overall. She was followed by Emily Baldwin in 16th place (24:45) and LaShay Dwiggins in 20th place (25:23). Also turning in solid times were Norah Amberger 23rd (25:34), Makayla Tebbe 27th (26:12), Emerson Gunn 27th (26:55) and Jessie Biltz in 30:21.
The boys team was led by Harper Gunn finishing in a great time of 17:45earning 4th place followed by freshman Fletcher Hash in 9th place with a new PR of 18:23. The trio of Clayton Ruf (21:19), Declan Kellems (22:14) and Logan Summey (22:48) all had great times and efforts for the Chargers. Freshman Elliott Barber ran his fastest time of the season while setting a new PR finishing with a time of 24:33.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday at the East Central Invitational.
