The North Decatur Chargers challenged the Waldron Mohawks in round two of the Edinburg Sectional. The first quarter was quick and low scoring but had the Mohawks on top 12-7. Second quarter action had North Decatur in turn over trouble and Waldron in the lead 28-18. Halftime was inspiring to the teams as the third quarter was wild. Chargers would make a comeback then the Mohawks would take it away. Third quarter 43-38 Waldron holding the lead. The fourth quarter was the most exciting of the game as North had their first lead of the night. Tie scores and free throw shots had the fans on their feet. North Decatur extended the lead in the final minutes. The Chargers were able to finish round two with a victory. Final Score Chargers 60 Mohawks 52. North Decatur advances to round three of the Edinburg Sectional on Saturday at 7pm. North Decatur will battle Edinburg on their home court. South Decatur lost to Edinburg 53-47.
